N.S.F.L SATURDAY RESULTS (3-26-22)



(1-4) New York Empire- 27   (2-2) San Diego Surf- 17

New York, NY:  Vad Lee went 34/15 for 195 yards and two touchdowns with an interception, and Jonathan Hankins recorded 9 tackles, 2 sacks and a forced fumble to lead the New York Empire to their first win, with a 27-17 victory over the San Diego Surf Saturday at Michie Stadium in New York. 

Elijah Hood ran ran 17 times for 51 yards and a touchdown for the Empire. 

Devonta Freeman had 81 yards rushing and a touchdown on 14 carries to lead San Diego. Gardner Minchew completed 12 of 36 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown with an interception.

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma:  Alek Torgersen threw 2 touchdowns with an interception and Chris Carson ran 23 times for 75 yards and a touchdown  reception as the Memphis Hound Dogs defeated the Oklahoma Gunslingers 29-24 at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium Saturday. 

Monte Nicholson recorded 6 tackles and a sack,  Tre Herndon 6 tackles and a interception and Cassius Vaughn 3 tackles and a 45 yard interception return for a touchdown to lead the Memphis defense. 

Aaron Murray completed 22 of 35 passes for 319 yards and 3 touchdowns with 2 interceptions to lead the Gunslingers. Eugene Lewis had 6 catches for 185 yards and 2 touchdowns. 

Shaquille Richardson had 8 tackles and a interception. Bravvion Roy 6 tackles and a sack for the Gunslingers .

Raleigh, NC:  Brandon Bridge completed 15 of 23 passes for 308 yards and 2 touchdowns with an interception. William Powell ran 23 times for 77 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Carolina Storm defeat the Louisville Thoroughbreds 34-30 Saturday. 

Vince Mayle caught 7 passes for 110 yards. Bryan Burnham had 4 receptions for 119 yards and 2 touchdowns. Hugh O'Neal was 2/2 on field goal attempts with a long of 39 yards. Rashad Fenton recorded 7 tackles and a sack. Will Parks, Vontaze Burfict and Dakota Allen also had 7 tackles apiece for the Storm defense. 

Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 171 yards and a touchdown on 17 of 37 passing and a touchdown. Jeremy Sprinkle had 4 receptions for 52 yards and a score. Michael Badgley connected on 3/4 field goals with a long of 53 yards for Louisville. 

Kenny Ladler recorded 10 tackles to lead the Louisville defense.

Atlanta, GA:  Nick Arbuckle completed 14 of 19 passes for 179 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead the Atlanta Firebirds ( 5-0 ) to a 24-8 thrashing of the Dallas Desperados ( 1-3 ) at Bobby Dodd Stadium Saturday night. 

Isaiah Crowell rushed for 46 yards on 21 carries. Eric Rogers had 3 receptions for 79 yards. Dez Bryant caught 3 passes for 44 yards and Kaden Smith had 3 catches for 36 yards and a touchdown  for the Firebirds. 

Jalen Mills recorded 7 tackles and a forced fumble.  Foyesade Oluokun had 5 tackles and a sack. Micah Johnson 4 tackles and a sack for the Firebirds defensive effort. 

Michael Reilly threw for 163 yards on 19 of 35 passing and ran 5 times for 16 yards for Dallas. Vince Biegel had 10 tackles, a sack ( safety) . Matt Milano also recorded a sack, along with 5 tackles for Dallas.
