NSFL Saturday Results (3-5-22)

Orlando Rockets (1-1)- 23   Columbus Explorers (0-2)- 13

Orlando, Fla:  Jeremiah Masoli threw for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the Orlando Rockets (1-1) past the Columbus Explorers 23-13 at Brighthouse Stadium in Orlando. 

Orleans Darkwa ran 30 times for 98 yards. Ben Koyack caught 6 passes for 70 yards and a touchdown. Malik McMorris had 5 receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown. Zimari Manning had 3 catches for 55 yards and Keenan Reynolds 2 receptions for 17 yards and a score. Justin Voge went 1-1 on field goal attempts and 2-3 on XP.

Avery Ellis had 7 tkls, a sack, a hurry and a forced fumble. Chris Randle recorded 6 tackles and Chuck Clark 5 tackles and 2 Def for the Rockets defense. 

Vernon Adams completed 14 of 30 passes for 210 yards and a touchdown for Columbus (0-2).

Jeremy Langford ran 14 times for 37 yards. Trevaun Smith had 4 receptions for 53 yards. DeMarkus Lodge had 4 catches for 80 yards. Simmie Cobb caught 2 passes for 39 yards and a touchdown. Sawyer Petre went 2-2 on field goal attempts with a long of 26 yards for Columbus. 

Steven Johnson had 10 tackles. Kenneth Acker 8 tackles and a hurry. Anthony Zettle 8 tackles, 2 stuffs and a hurry . Beniquez Brown 8 tackles and a stuff to lead the Columbus defense. 

Philadelphia Liberty (2-0)- 30   Connecticut Colonials (0-1-1)- 7

Philadelphia, Pa:  Tre Boston recorded 4 tackles, 2 Def, an interception and a 29 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown as the Philadelphia Liberty (2-0) pound the Connecticut Colonials 30-7 at Franklin Field in Philadelphia Saturday. 

Jake Browning completed 11 of 24 passes for 116 yards with 2 interceptions and sacked once. Kareem Hunt ran 14 times for 61 yards. Salvon Ahmed had 16 carries for 43 yards and a touchdown. Dalton Schultz caught 5 passes for 61 yards and Duron Carter had 3 receptions for 30 yards.  Ryan Hawkins went 3-3 on field goal attempts with a long of 50 yards.  He punted 5 times for 201 yards, 1 touchback with a long of 52 yards. 

Abdul Kanneh led the defense with 8 tackles and 2 Def. Jeremy Kellem had 5 tackles, a deflection and a interception (78 yds). Jayron Elliott had 4 tackles and a 37 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown. Davon Godchaux and Cordarro Law each recorded a sack in the win.

Dane Evans completed 19 of 37 passes for only 93 yards and a touchdown with one interception. He was sacked twice. 

Shaquelle Evans had 5 receptions for 32 yards and a touchdown. Claude Pelosi recorded 7 tackles, a sack and a stuff. Kelvin Sheppard had 7 tackles, a deflection and 2 stuffs. Kevin Fogg  6 tackles, a deflection and an interception (28 yards). Shawn Oakman recorded 3 tackles,  a stuff, 2 hurries and a interception (2 yds) for Connecticut. 

Los Angeles Stars (1-1)- 14  Arkansas Diamond Miners (0-2)- 6

Carson, Ca:  Alex Collins rushed for 122 yards on 20 carries and Ryan Nassib completed 13 of 22 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown as the Los Angeles Stars clipped the Arkansas Diamond Miners 14-6 at the Stub Hub Center in Carson. 

Ricky Seals Jones had 4 receptions for 36 yards and Juwan Johnson had a 21 yard touchdown reception. Kenny Vaccaro recorded 9 tackles, a deflection and a forced fumble. Ha'Sean Clinton 8 tackles and a deflection. Corey Littleton 4 tackles,a stuff and a interception (25 yards). Don Unamba had 3 tackles, 3 deflections and a 17 yard interception return for a touchdown for the Stars. 

Amir Hall threw for 262 yards and 2 interceptions for Arkansas. Bryce Love ran 15 times for 44 yards. Kenny Lawler had 5 receptions for 75 yards and James O'Shaughnessy 5 catches for 54 yards. Sergio Castillo went 2-3 on field goal attempts with a long of 34 yards. He punted 6 times for 212 yards (35.3 avg) with a long of 42 yards. 

Tedric Thompson led the Arkansas defense with 11 tackles. Eric Wilson had 7 tackles. Alex Bazzie had 5 tackles, a sack and a stuff. LaDarius Guice had 6 tackles, a deflection and a forced fumble in the loss.

Atlanta Firebirds (2-0)- 28  Birmingham Beast (0-2)- 9

Atlanta, GA:  Nick Arbuckle completed 16 of 28 passes for 230 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception and ran 6 times for 27 yards and a touchdown as the Atlanta Firebirds (2-0) scorched the Birmingham Beast 28-9 before a raucous crowd at Bobby Dodd Stadium Saturday. 

Isaiah Crowell rushed for 78 yards on 22 carries, plus caught 3 passes for 66 yards and a touchdown.  Kaden Smith had 3 receptions for 63 yards and a score.  Eric Rogers 3 catches for 40 yards and Dez Bryant 3 catches for 28 yards, 8 punt returns for 107 yards, including a 64 yard return for a touchdown. 

Nate Hurst recorded 8 tackles and a forced fumble. Jalen Mills 8 tackles. Kwaku Boateng 5 tackles, a sack, 2 stuffs and 3 hurries. Micah Johnson 4 tackles, a sack, 2 stuffs and 5 hurries. Ted Laurent, Foyesade Oluokun, Joe Ostman and Monshadrik Hunter each recorded a sack for the Firebirds. 

Tyree Jackson completed 17 of 37 passes for 179 yards and an interception. He was sacked 6 times for Birmingham. He also ran 7 times for 49 yards. 

Chris Strevler darted from 10 yards out for a score ( x-point missed) while rushing for 10 yards on 2 carries. Nyheim Hines ran 7 times for 30 yards and caught 5 passes for 52 yards. Will Hastings had 3 receptions for 52 yards. Austin Rekow went 1 for 1 on field goal attempts. 

Corey Sayles had 7 tackles and a sack. Kentrell Brice 7 tackles. Nick Marshall 5 tackles, a deflection and an interception in the loss for Birmingham (0-2).

Washington Generals (1-1)- 20   Memphis Hound Dogs (0-2)- 12

Memphis, Tn;  Cardale Jones threw for 361 yards and a touchdown with 2 interceptions as the Washington Generals defeated the Memphis Hound Dogs 20-12 at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis Saturday night. 

Tim Wright caught 7 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown. Devonte Booker had 4 receptions for 96 yards and KeKe Coutee 5 catches for 75 yards. Lewis Ward went 2-2 on field goal attempts with a long of 35 yards and 2-2 on XP attempts. Curtis Weaver had 8 tackles, a sack, a deflection, a stuff and two hurries to lead the Washington defensive effort. Marquel Lee had 8 tackles, a deflection and 2 stuffs. Ronheen Bingham recorded 6 tackles, a sack,  3 stuffs and 3 hurries. Andrew Adams had a 54 yard interception return for a score. Ryan Carruthers had 3 tackles, a sack and a stuff for Washington (1-1).

Alex Torgersen threw for 277 yards and a touchdown with 2 interceptions on 21 of 40 passing for the Hound Dogs. 

Golden Tate caught 6 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown. Lirim Hajrullahu went 1-2 on field goal attempts with a long of 50 yards. He had 7 punts totalling 307 yards (43.9 avg) with a long of 59 yards. 

Tre Herndon had 6 tackles and a interception (41 yards). Timmy Jernigan recorded 6 tackles, a deflection, 2 stuffs,  a hurry, 2 forced fumbles and a safety. Francis Bernard had 3 tackles and an interception (25 yards) for the Hound Dogs who fall to 0-2 on the season.
