N.S.F.L SUNDAY RESULTS (3-6-22)

Gunslingers (1-1)- 26    Storm (1-1)- 14

Raleigh,NC:  John White IV rushed for 74 yards and 2 touchdowns on 17 carries as the Oklahoma Gunslingers defeated the Carolina Storm 26-14 at Carter-Finley Stadium Sunday afternoon. 

Aaron Murray completed 21 of 35 passes for 230 yards and 2 interceptions, plus ran 8 times for 22 yards. Robert Tonyan had 9 receptions for 134 yards with a long of 48 yards. Eugene Lewis caught 4 passes for 41 yards. Justin Medlock converted on 4 of 4 Field goals with a long of 44 yards.

Clayton Geathers had 8 tackles, a sack,  a forced fumble and an interception (34 yards). Devante Downs 8 tackles, 2 sacks and a stuff.  Shaquille Roberts 4 tackles, 2 deflections and a interception (25 yards). Pat O'Connor 4 tackles, a sack and 2 hurries. Brawion Roy had a sack and a hurry for the Oklahoma ( 1-1).

Brandon Bridge threw for 263 yards and a touchdown with 2 interceptions. He also ran 9 times for 56 yards to lead the Storm.

 William Powell had 6 catches for 72 yards with a long of 37 yards, plus ran 8 times for for 8 yards. Bryan Burnham 3 catches for 70 yards with a long of 36 yards and a touchdown. Vince Mayle caught 5 passes for 67 yards with a long of 21 yards.  

Will Parks recorded 10 tackles, a deflection and a interception (29 yards). EJ Gaines 8 tackles. Rashad Fenton 5 tackles and a interception (44 yards). Vontez Burfict 6 tackles,  1 deflection and 2 stuffs for the Storm who drop to 1-1.

Pirates (1-0-1)- 17    Surf (1-1)- 14

Bossier City, La.;  Keenan Brown caught 7 passes for 150 yards and Zach Mettenberger completed 15 of 38 passes for 215 yards and a touchdown to lead the Shreveport Pirates (1-0-1) to a 17-14 decision over the San Diego Surf. 

Michael Carter rushed for 24 yards on 11 carries with a long of 13 yards. SJ Green caught 4 passes for 28 yards and a touchdown. Derrick Kindred had 10 tackles, a deflection and a 34 yard fumble recovery for a score. Chase Allen 7 tackles and Joe Gaziano 5 tackles, a stuff, 2 hurries and a forced fumble. David Parry and Joplo Bartu each recorded a sack for the Pirates. 

Gardner Minchew completed 19 of 34 passes for 226 yards and a touchdown. He rushed for 27 yards on 9 carries. Ka'Deem Carey ran 6 times for 51 yards and a touchdown. Devonta Freeman ran 11 times for 23 yards and caught 4 passes for 86 yards . John Bates 5 catches for 44 yards. Tajae Sharpe 4 catches for 41 yards and Keesean Johnson 3 catches for 28 yards and a touchdown. 

Jatavis Brown had 7 tackles, 2 deflections and a stuff. Treshaun Webster 7 tackles and a deflection and Sio Moore 7 tackles and a stuff. Shareef Miller and Tyler Clark each recorded a sack for San Diego. 

Barracudas (1-1)- 20    Desperados (1-1)- 16

Dallas, TX:  Cam Newton threw for 182 yards and a touchdown with one interception on 34 of 22 passing to lead the Tampa Bay Barracudas to a 20-16 win over the Dallas Desperados. 

Tarik Cohen ran 8 times for 41 yards and caught 6 passes for 57 yards.  Greg Ward Jr had 7 receptions for 61 yards and Shaq Johnson had a touchdown reception, catching 2 passes for 17 yards. Will Lutz converted on 2-3 Field goal attempts with a long of 51 yards. 

Tony Lippet recorded 7 tackles, 2 deflections and an interception (42 yards). Chris Peace 6 tackles, a stuff and a hurry. Prince Amukamara 5 tackles,  a deflection and a 41 yard interception return for a touchdown.  Terrance Taylor had 4 tackles and a sack. 

Michael Reilly completed 18 of 37 passes for 239 yards and a touchdown with 2 interceptions for the Desperados. 

Derrius  Guice ran 7 times for 57 yards.  Derel Walker had 8 receptions for 148 yards and a touchdown. Austin Jenkins 4 catches for 36 yards. Cole Tracy went 3-4 on field goal attempts with a record long of 69 yards. 

Matt Milano had 8 tackles, a hurry and an interception. Dondre Wright 6 tackles and a deflection. Vince Biegel 6 tackles for the Desperados defense. 

Stags (1-1)- 37    Venom (1-1)- 0

Jackson,Ms;  Trevor Harris threw for 247 yards and 2 touchdowns on 17 of 24 passes and ran 5 times for 29 yards and a score as the Michigan Stags blanked the Mississippi Venom 37-0 before 21,000 at Jackson Veterans Memorial Stadium Sunday. 

Alfred Blue ran 20 times for 45 yards and a touchdown. Samaje Perine had 34 yards on 12 carries. He caught 5 passes for 51 yards. Naamon Roosevelt had 6 receptions for 102 yards. Antonio Callaway had 5 catches for 83 yards and 2 touchdowns . Dominik Eberle converted on 3 of 3 field goal attempts with a long of 46 yards. 

Miles Killebrew recorded 5 tackles,  a hurry and a forced fumble. Mic'heal Brown 4 tackles, a sack,  a deflection and a stuff.  Chase Winovich 4 tackles, a sack and a stuff. Matt Judon 3 tackles, and 2 sacks. Orlando Scantling 2 tackles and a interception (39 yards). JC Jackson had a interception (14 yards).

Chad Kelly completed only 9 of 17 passes for 91 yards and 2 interceptions. He was sacked 5 times. Mason Fine completed 3 of 4 passes for 13 yards. 

James Connor ran 13 times for 36 yards. Davaris Daniels 4 receptions for 54 yards. Marcel Spears recorded 10 tackles and a deflection. Watson Tautuiaki 9 tackles, a sack, 3 stuffs, a hurry and a forced fumble. Nicholas Moore 5 tackles, a sack, and a deflection for the Venom who drop to 1-1 on the year.

Warriors (1-1)- 29    Empire (0-2)- 13

Milwaukee,Wisconsin:  Iman Marshal Lewis had 3 tackles, a deflection and a 90 yard punt returns for a touchdown as the Milwaukee Warriors defeated the New York Empire 29-13.

Connor Cook completed 21 of 30 passes for 221 yards and 2 touchdowns with one interception. Marlon Mack rushed for 43 yards on 14 carries and had 2 receptions for16 yards and a score. Antonio Gibson ran 12 times for 42 yards and a touchdown. Cameron Meredith caught 9 passes for 100 yards and a touchdown. Thaddeus Moss 5 catches for 57 yards. Robert McClain had 6 tackles and 2 deflections. Chad Thomas 4 tackles, a sack, 2 stuffs and 3 hurries. Jessie Lemonier 4 tackles and a sack. Rueben Foster 3 tackles and a sack. Will Sutton also recorded a sack for the Warriors. 

New York quarterback Vad Lee completed 13 of 32 passing for 115 yards and a touchdown. He was sacked 4 times.

Elijah Hood ran 9 times for 60 yards. Josh Gordon had 5 receptions for 68 yards  Donald Parham 2 receptions for 13 yards and a touchdown. Brett Meyer went 2-3 on field goal attempts with a long of 39 yards. Sam Shields led the New York defense with 12 tackles and a deflection. Elandon Roberts recorded 9 tackles, a sack, a deflection and a hurry in the loss for New York. 

Wranglers (2-0)- 34    Crusaders (1-1)- 13

Houston,Texas;   Zach Collaros threw for 317 yards and 4 touchdowns with an interception in leading the Houston Wranglers to a 34-13 victory over the Chicago Crusaders at TDECU Stadium in Houston. 

Devin Singletary ran 21 times for 57 yards and caught 3 passes for 41 yardsand 2 touchdowns. D'Haquille Williams had 7 receptions for 121 yards and a touchdown. Bryce Williams had 7 catches for 78 yards and a score.  Giorgio Tavecchio went 2-2 on field goal attempts with a long of 27 yards. 

Patrick Levi recorded 6 tackles, 3 deflections and an interception (46 yards). David Rivers had 5 tackles and an interception for the Wranglers defense. 

McLeod Bethel Thompson completed 19 of 42 passes for 308 yards and 2 interceptions for Chicago. 

James Robinson rushed for 39 yards on 11 carries and a touchdown. Ellis Richardson had 5 receptions for 120 yards. Kyran Moore caught 5 passes for 70 yards. Juwan Johnson had 3 catches for 51 yards. Rodrigo Blankenship converted on 2 of 3 field goal attempts. 

De'Jon Harris recorded 9 tackles, 2 stuffs and a hurry. Zach Sanchez had 8 tackles and a deflection. Nickell Coleman 8 tackles. Simoni Lawrence 3 tackles, a sack, a stuff and a hurry for the Chicago defense. 

Nighthawks (1-1)- 27     Riders (1-1)- 23

San Antonio, TX;  Madre London ran 31 times for 94 yards and 3 touchdowns and caught 2 passes for 42 yards and a score, as the Omaha Nighthawks defeated the San Antonio Riders 27-23 at the Alamo Dome Sunday. 

Matt Nichols completed 18 of 26 passes for 231 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Mychel Rivera had 7 receptions for 93 yards. Hunter Renfrew 3 receptions for 46 yards. Ray Ray McCloud had 6 kick returns for 153 yards (25.5 Avg) with a long of 45 yards. 

Mason Foster had 9 tackles, a sack, 3 deflections. Xavier Woods 6 tackles, a deflection and a interception to lead the Omaha defense. 

Cooper Rush threw for 251 yards and 2 touchdowns on 18 of 35 passing. William Stanback ran 9 times for 19 yards and caught 6 passes for 63 yards and a touchdown. Mark Andrews had 6 catches for 82 yards and a touchdown. Terry Williams had 116 yards on 5 kick returns. Harrison Butker went 3 for 3 on field goal attempts for 45 yards. 

Deatrick Williams had 10 tackles, a sack and a stuff to lead the Riders defense. Matthieu Betts 9 tackles. Calvin Pryor 8 tackles and a deflection. DJ Reader had 3 tackles, a sack, a stuff and 2 forced fumbles for the Riders. 

Sea Lions (2-0)- 20    Thoroughbreds (0-2)- 19

San Francisco, Ca;  Easton Stick connected with Justin Blackmon on a 14 yard touchdown pass with 1:51 remaining to lift the San Francisco Demons to a 20-19 win over the Louisville Thoroughbreds. 

Easton Stick threw for 219 yards and 2 touchdowns on 15 of 30 passing for the Demons. Austin Ekeler ran 15 times for 26 yards. Bryant Mitchell had 5 receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown.  Justin Blackmon had 2 catches for 32 yards and a touchdown. Marcus Montgomery was 2 for 3 on field goal attempts with a long of 32 yards. 

Tyler Matakevich recorded 10 tackles to lead the Demons defense. Fabian Moreau had 9 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble. Chris Slayton 4 tackles, a sack, a deflection and a hurry. 

Bo Levi Mitchell completed 24 of 34 passes for 267 yards and 2 touchdowns. Lamar Miller rushed for 48 yards on 12 carries and 10 receptions for 82 yards. Darnell Moody 5 catches for 67 yards. DeDe Westbrook 2 receptions for 46 yards and 2 touchdowns. Michael Badgley connected on 2 of 2 field goal attempts with a long of 43 yards. 

Kenny Ladler hadv7 tackles and a deflection. Adolphus Washington 4 tackles, a sack and a stuff for Louisville in the loss.

Odyssey (2-0)- 31     Hotshots (0-2)- 17

Oakland, CA:  The Oakland Odyssey unveiled their 2021 Pantheon Cup championship banner before 31,000 fans Sunday night. Then delighted fans with a 31-17 victory over the Arizona Hotshots. 

Cody Fajardo completed 18 of 36 passes for 240 yards and 3 touchdowns. Aaron Jones ran 16 times for 82 yards and a score and had 3 receptions for 22 yards and a score. Ricky Collins Jr had 6 receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown. Colin Taylor caught 3 passes for 80 yards including a 64 yard touchdown reception . 

Sam Acho led the Odyssey defense with 6 tackles. Shamarko Thomas recorded 5 tackles. Pierre Desir had 4 tackles and a forced fumble. John Bowman had 4 tackles, 2 stuffs and a hurry in the win.

Nick Shafnisky completed 12 of 22 passes for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns for Arizona. 

Andrew Harris rushed for 44 yards on 16 carries and had an 18 yard touchdown reception. Taylor Gabriel caught 3 passes for 66 yards, including a 53 yard touchdown reception. Jace Amaro had 3 receptions for 34 yards.  Joe Schobert had 9 tackles to lead the Arizona defense. Cole Holcomb had 7 tackles and Richard Leonard 5 tackles and 3 stuffs. 

Grizzlies (2-0)- 38     Fury (0-2)- 21

Seattle, WA:   Dakota Prucup threw for 420 yards and 4 touchdowns with 2 interceptions and ran for a score in leading the Utah Grizzlies (2-0) past the Seattle Fury (0-2).

Chris Swain ran 13 times for 23 yards. Lucky Whitehead had 8 receptions for 154 yards and a touchdown. Christopher Herndon caught 7 passes for 124 yards. Darreus Rogers had 3 receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown and Larry Rose had 2 catches for 28 yards and a score. 

Samuel Eguavoen recorded 9 tackles and 2 stuffs. Ronnie Yell 6 tackles, 2 deflections and an interception.  Soloman Ajayi 4 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble. Tre Spann had a interception in the win for Utah. 

Dominique Davis threw for 198 yards and a touchdown with 1 interception and ran 5 times for 49 yards and a score.  John Manziel completed 1 of 4 passes for 31 yards and a interception for the Fury. 

Jeremy Hill ran 13 times for 41 yards. Reggie Begelton had 5 catches for 56 yards and a touchdown.  Armanti Edwards had 5 receptions for 68 yards. 

Josh Johnson powered the Fury defense with 8 tackles and a forced fumble. Khane Pass had 7 tackles. Willie Harvey 7 tackles and Blake Countess had 3 tackles and an interception return for a touchdown (31 yards) in the inaugural home opener for the Fury (0-2).
