CAPITAL CITY NAME CHANGE FOR 2023!



Washington, DC:  With the NFL's Washington franchise becoming the Washington Commanders next season.  The NSFL' s  Washington Generals will be changing their brand next season, due to Generals and Commanders being basically the same. 

The new name for this proud NSFL franchise for next season will be the " Washington Wave". Logo and helmet will be revealed after the 2022 NSFL Season. 

" We have taken alot of pride in the " Washington Generals " name and hold it dear to our hearts. But we are extremely excited about turning a new and exciting page in our history with our new brand ." said a team spokesperson.

Honolulu or Bust?

Unconfirmed reports are that there have been discussions about the Seattle Fury relocating to Honolulu, Hawaii next season. 

Officials from the franchise have not confirmed nor denied the rumor. However, a source close to the franchise reports that team officials have been in contact with Honolulu officials about the availability of Aloha football stadium for 2023.

Officials from both sides have declined comment at the present time. 

With the NFL's Seahawks and possible return of the XFL's Seattle Dragons. The Seattle market could be overcrowded, thus the rumor of a possible relocation of the Fury.
