N.S.F.L SUNDAY RESULTS (4-3-22) WEEK 6

Atlanta Firebirds (6-0)- 27   Tampa Bay Barracudas (3-3)- 20

Tampa, FL;   Nick Arbuckle threw for 237 yards and a touchdown on 17 of 34 passing to lead the Atlanta Firebirds ( 6-0) past the Tampa Bay Barracudas 27-20 Sunday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium. 

Isaiah Crowell ran 25 times for 48 yards and a touchdown.  Maleek Irons had 46 yards rushing and a touchdown on 8 carries. Kaden Smith caught 7 passes for 119 yards and a score. Dez Bryant had 5 receptions for 69 yards and 4 kick returns for 115 yards with a long of 34 yards. Jonathan Song went 2/2 on field goal attempts with a long of 31 yards. He was 3/3 on Xtra points for Atlanta. 

Donald Payne had 7 tackles, a stuff and a hurry. Aaron Grymes 7 tackles. Chris Jones 7 tackles. Foyesade Oluokun 6 tackles, a deflection, a stuff and a Forced fumble. Micah Johnson 2 tackles and a sack. Kwaku Boateng also had a sack for the Atlanta defense. 

Cam Newton completed 23 of 37 passing for 249 yards and a touchdown with an interception. He ran 7 times for 7 yards and a touchdown (7 yards). Tarik Cohen ran 8 times for 39 yards and caught 9 passes for 86 yards. Shaq Johnson had 3 receptions for 68 yards and a score. Greg Little 5 receptions for 45 yards. Greg Ward Jr 5 catches for 51 yards. Will Lutz converted 2/2 field goal attempts with a long of 38 yards and 2/2 Xtra points for the Barracudas. 

Jalen Elliott recorded 8 tackles. Chris Peace 6 tackles, Chris Orr 6 tackles, a stuff and a hurry. Tashawn Bower 4 tackles, a deflection,  2 stuffs and a forced fumble as the Barracudas fall to 3-3.

Carolina Storm (3-3)- 17   Orlando Rockets (1-5)- 10

Raleigh, NC:  Brandon Bridge didn't have the best day, throwing for only 76 yards on 12 of 22 passing and sacked 3 times. But he did throw for 2 touchdowns as the Carolina Storm defeated the Orlando Rockets 17-10 at Carter-Finley Stadium. 

William Powell rushed for 76 yards on 14 carries. Bryan Burnham caught 4 passes for 25 yards. Lemar Durant 2 receptions for 28 yards and a touchdown,  6 punt returns for 85 yards (14.2 avg) with a long of 16 yards and 3 kick returns for 32 yards (10.7 avg) with a long of 13 yards.  Vince Mayle had a 4 yard touchdown reception in the win for the Storm. 

Will Parks tallied 8 tackles. Vontez Burfict 5 tackles and a interception (72 yards). Ja'Gared Davis 5 tackles, 2 sacks and a stuff. Will Clarke 5 tackles, a sack, a stuff, 3 hurries and a forced fumble. Malcolm Roach 4 tackles, a sack and a hurry. EJ Gaines 3 tackles, a deflection and a interception (39 yards ) in the win.

Jeremiah Masoli completed 19 of 43 passing for 200 yards and a touchdown with 2 interceptions and sacked 4 times for Orlando. He ran 12 times for 27 yards ( 2.3 avg).

Ben Koyack had 6 receptions for 86 yards. Orleans Darkwa 11 carries for 43 yards and 5 receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown. James Quick caught 4 passes for 50 yards for Orlando. 

Sam Hubbard had 6 tackles, a sack, a deflection, a stuff and a hurry. Chris Randle 6 tackles and a deflection. David Onyemata 5 tackles and 2 stuffs. Avery Ellis 4 tackles, a sack and a stuff. Charleston Hughes 3 tackles and a sack in the loss for Orlando. 

Oklahoma Gunslingers (3-3)- 24   Arkansas Diamond Miners (1-4)- 16

Oklahoma City, Okl;  John White IV rushed for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns on 23 carries and caught 3 passes for 67 yards as the Oklahoma Gunslingers rolled to a 24-16 victory over the Arkansas Diamond Miners Saturday at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium before 37,213 Sunday. 

Aaron Murray completed 19 of 38 passes for 220 yards and a touchdown with 1 interception. He rushed for 46 yards on 6 carries (7.7 avg).Eugene Lewis had 6 receptions for 77 yards. Lil Jordan Humphrey had a 29 yard touchdown reception in the win for the Gunslingers (3-3).

Rico Murray collected 8 tackles, a deflection and a interception (17 yards). Clayton Geathers 7 tackles, a stuff and a forced fumble. Winston Guy 6 tackles and 2 stuffs. Michael Pierce 5 tackles, a sack and a hurry. Pat O'Connor contributed with a sack for the Slingers defense. 

Amir Hall completed 17 of 50 passes for 195 yards and a interception for Arkansas. He was sacked twice. 

Bruce Love ran 19 times for 83 yards and a touchdown with a long of 23 yards. Steven Sims had 5 receptions for 58 yards and James O'Shaughnessy 4 catches for 54 yards. Sergio Castillo went 3/5 on field goal attempts with a long of 35 yards .

Sam Hurl had 9 tackles, a deflection and a stuff to lead the Arkansas defense. Tedric Thompson 8 tackles and 2 interceptions ( 18 yards). LaDarius Guice 7 tackles in the loss for Arkansas. 

Omaha Nighthawks (2-3)- 21   New York Empire (1-5)- 10

New York, NY:  Matt Nichols threw a fourth quarter 58 yard touchdown pass to Greg Ellingson to propel the Omaha Nighthawks to a 21-10 victory over the New York Empire Sunday at Michie Stadium in New York. 

Matt Nichols completed 10 of 24 passing for 150 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was sacked twice. 

Madre London rushed for 51 yards on 17 carries. Wayne Gallman 9 carries for 42 yards.  Greg Ellingson 4 receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown. Mychel Rivera 3 catches for 16 yards and a touchdown. Bronson Rechstiener a 3 yard touchdown reception and rushed for 5 yards on 7 attempts.

Gabriel Knapps had 7 tackles, 3 stuffs and 2 forced fumbles. Xavier Woods 6 tackles and a forced fumble. Eli Apple 6 tackles, a deflection and a stuff. Darnay Holmes had a sack for the Nighthawks defense. 

Vad Lee threw for 168 yards on 40/18 passing and sacked once for the Empire. 

Elijah Hood ran 14 times for 64 yards and a touchdown. Josh Gordon had 5 receptions for 46 yards and Donald Parham 3 receptions for 42 yards. Quentin Sims 2 receptions for 29 yards in the loss for the Empire. 

Jonathan Hankins recorded 6 tackles, a sack, a stuff and a forced fumble. Cam Thomas 6 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble. Tobi Antigha 6 tackles and 3 stuffs. Sam Shields 5 tackles and 2 deflections for the Empire defense. 

Birmingham Beast (2-4)- 14   Shreveport Pirates (1-3-1)- 7

Birmingham, AL:  Tyree Jackson ran in from 11 yards out with 0:09 seconds remaining, breaking a 7-7 deadlock to lift the Birmingham Beast to a hard fought 14-7 victory over the Shreveport Pirates before 27,009 at Legion Field Sunday afternoon. 

Tyree Jackson completed 13 of 34 passes for 124 yards and ran 10 times for 13 yards and a touchdown for the Beast.  He was sacked three times. Chris Strevler threw a 2 yard touchdown pass to Bralon Addison. 

Nyheim Hines ran 16 times for 95 yards. Bralon Addison had 5 receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown. Isaiah Ford caught 3 passes for 23 yards. Austin Rekow was 0 for 2 on field goal attempts and 2 for 2 on extra points. 

Sam Acho recorded 7 tackles, 4 stuffs and a hurry. Kentrell Brice 7 tackles. Mack Wilson 5 tackles, 1 sack and 1 deflection. John Simon 4 tackles and a sack. Damarious Randell 3 tackles, a sack and a deflection. Nick Marshall 2 tackles and a interception ( 23 yards)

Shreveport quarterback Zack Mettenberger completed 17 of 32 passes for 195 yards and a interception. He was sacked 4 times. 

Keenan Brown caught 7 passes for 103 yards. Emmanuel Arceneaux 5 receptions for 37 yards. David Parry recorded 8 tackles, 1 sack, 2 stuffs, a hurry, a forced fumble and a safety. Derrick Kindred 8 tackles and a deflection. Zach Kerr 7 tackles, 2 stuffs and a hurry. Josh Cox 5 tackles, a sack, a deflection and a safety. Dawuane Smoot 3 tackles, a sack and 2 hurries for the Shreveport defense. 

Houston Wranglers (5-0)- 46   Louisville Thoroughbreds (1-5)- 14

Louisville, Ky;  Zach Collaros threw for 364 yards and 4 touchdowns on 24 of 28 passing as the Houston Wranglers torched the Louisville Thoroughbreds 46-14 at Cardinal Stadium before 37,753 .

Devin Singletary rushed for 76 yards on 21 carries and caught 5 passes for 62 yards and a score.  Elijah Holyfield ran 13 times for 47 yards and a touchdown. D'Haquille Williams had 6 receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown. JJ Nelson had 4 catches for 58 yards and a touchdown. Giorgio Tavecchio was 4/5 on field goal attempts with a long of 51 yards and 4/4 on extra points. 

Cody Brown had 5 tackles and a sack. De'Vontae Lattimore 4 tackles, a deflection, a stuff and a hurry. Dante' Redwood 3 tackles, a forced fumble and a interception ( 21 yards). Byron Maxwell had 2 interceptions (70 yards) for the Houston defense. 

Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 113 yards and a touchdown with 3 interceptions for the Thoroughbreds. He was sacked once.

Lamar Miller rushed for 40 yards on 9 carries. Rex Burkhead ran for a score, rushing for 18 yards on 6 carries. DeDe Westbrook had a 56 yard reception. Darnell Moody a 9 yard touchdown reception. 

Brandon Williams had 10 tackles and Jaylen Dunlap 10 tackles to lead the Thoroughbreds defense.  Alton Robinson 7 tackles, a sack, and a stuff. Darius Fleming 4 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble. Adolphus Washington 4 tackles, a sack and a stuff in the loss.

San Antonio Riders (4-2)- 34   Los Angeles Stars (1-5)- 7

San Antonio, TX;  Cooper Rush threw for 237 yards and 3 touchdowns,  William Stanback ran 22 times for 82 yards and a touchdown as the San Antonio Riders rolled over the Los Angeles Stars 34-7 at the Alamo Dome Sunday night. 

Cooper Rush completed 21 of 30 passes for 237 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was sacked once. 

William Stanback ran 22 times for 82 yards and a touchdown, plus 7 catches for 51 yards and a score. Mark Andrews 9 receptions for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns. Harrison Butker converted 2 of 2 field goals and 4/4 on extra points. 

Calvin Pryor recorded 7 tackles, a deflection, a stuff, a hurry and a forced fumble.  Deatrick Williams 6 tackles, 2 sacks and a deflection. Daylon Mack 4 tackles, 2 stuffs, a hurry and a forced fumble. Evan Worthington 2 tackles, 1 sack, 1 deflection, a deflection and a forced fumble.  Ciante Evans 2 tackles and a interception (29 yards) and Jordan Hoover 2 tackles and a interception (13 yards) for the Riders. 

Ryan Nassib completed only 9 of 23 passing for 68 yards, 2 interceptions and sacked 3 times. Chase Fourcade completed 3 of 7 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown for Los Angeles. 

Ricky Seals Jones had 5 receptions for 98 yards and a touchdown. Will Compton had 11 tackles, 1 sack, 2 deflections, a stuff and a hurry. Kenny Vaccaro 9 tackles and a deflection. Tuzar Skipper 8 tackles and a stuff for Los Angeles. 

San Francisco Sea Lions (5-1)- 34   San Diego Surf (2-3)- 24

San Francisco, Ca;  Austin Ekeler ran for one touchdown and caught another as the San Francisco Sea Lions improved to 5-1 with a 34-24 victory over the San Diego Surf Sunday night. 

Easton Stick completed 20 of 40 passes for 270 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was sacked once. 

Austin Ekeler rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries, and had 4 receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown. Philip Lindsay ran 10 times for 39 yards. Jakobi Meyers 5 receptions for 60 yards. Bryant Mitchell 4 catches for 67 yards and a touchdown and Dwayne Allen 3 receptions for 49 yards. 

Michael Davis had 7 tackles and a forced fumble. Krys Barnes 6 tackles, a deflection, a stuff and a forced fumble. Daimion Stafford 6 tackles. Alvin Ray Jackson. Ken Webster had a 10 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown for the Sea Lions. 

Gardner Minchew threw for 155 yards and a interception on 31/16 passing for San Diego. 

He was sacked once. He ran 7 times for 58 yards. Devonta Freeman 10 carries for 30 yards and a touchdown. Seth DeValve had 6 receptions for 22 yards. 

Shareef Miller 7 tackles, 2 stuffs and 3 hurries. Tye Smith 7 tackles. Javin White 6 tackles, a deflection and a stuff. Jatavis Brown 5 tackles 1 sack, a deflection and a hurry in the loss for San Diego. 

Oakland Odyssey (3-2)- 48   Seattle Fury (0-5)- 34

Seattle, WA;  Aaron Jones ran 19 times for 125 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the Oakland Odyssey past the winless Seattle Fury 48-34 before a crowd of 27,000 at  CenturyLink Field in Seattle. 

Cody Fajardo threw for 224 yards and 2 touchdowns. Brian Hill rushed for 47 yards on 6 carries.  Ricky Collins Jr had 7 receptions for 132 yards and a touchdown. Tyrone Swoops 2 catches for 11 yards and a score. 

Shamarko Thomas recorded 10 tackles  a sack and a 47 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown. John Bowman 7 tackles, 1 sack, 1 stuff and 2 hurries. Dre Greenlaw 7 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble. James Vaughn 7 tackles and a hurry for Oakland (3-2)

Dominique Davis completed 20 of 28 passes for 293 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was sacked 3 times and ran 9 times for 42 yards and a touchdown for the Fury. 

Jeremy Hill rushed for 52 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown and caught 4 passes for 28 yards. Rashad Green 5 receptions for 48 yards. Reggie Begelton 2 catches for 63 yards and a touchdown. Armanti Edwards 2 catches for 71 yards and a score.
