N.S.F.L WEEK NINE SATURDAY RESULTS



Week Nine Saturday Results 

Gunslingers (4-4)- 31    Silverbacks (6-2)- 14

St Louis, Missouri:  Aaron Murray threw for 148 yards and a touchdown  on 13 of 22 passing with 2 interceptions, and Penny Hart caught 5 passes for 82 yards and a score, as well as a 91 yard punt return for a score as the Oklahoma Gunslingers rolled over the St.Louis Silverbacks 31-14 at the Dome of America in St.Louis. 

John White IV rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. Robert Tonyan had 4 receptions for 47 yards.

Shaquille Roberts had 9 tackles and a 9 yard blocked punt return for a touchdown.  Michael Pierce recorded 8 tackles and 4 stuffs.  AJ Green had 3 tackles, a deflection and a interception (23 yards). CeCe Jefferson recorded 2 sacks for Oklahoma.

Gunner Kiel completed 17 of 43 passing for 157 yards and a interception before being replaced by Case Cookus in the fourth quarter for the Silverbacks. 

Cookus completed 6 of 11 passing for 90 yards and a touchdown. He was sacked twice. Elijah McGuire ran 17 times for 51 yards and a score. Josh Reynolds had 4 receptions for 50 yards and Juwan Green 3 catches for 75 yards.

Deandre Baker recorded 9 tackles and a stuff. Tunde Adele 5 tackles and a interception (3 yards). Kenneth Olugbode 5 tackles and Perry Riley 4 tackles, a sack and a deflection in the loss. 

Nighthawks (3-5)- 30    Beast (3-5)- 28

Omaha, Nebraska:  Bronson Rechstiener went over the top from one yard out for a score midway through the fourth quarter to lift the Omaha Nighthawks to a 30-28 victory over the Birmingham Beast Saturday at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha. 

Matt Nichols threw for 234 yards and 3 touchdowns with 2 interceptions on 25 of 42 passing. 

Madre London ran 17 times for 52 yards. Wayne Gallman rushed for 49 yards on 9 carries. Greg Ellington had 8 receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown. Mychel Rivera 7 catches for 75 yards and 2 scores. 

Frank Beltran had 7 tackles, a sack, a deflection, a stuff and a hurry to lead the Nighthawks defense. Mason Foster 5 tackles, a deflection, a stuff and a interception (4 yards). Gabriel Knapps 2 tackles, a sack, a stuff and a hurry. 

Birmingham's Tyree Jackson completed 10 of 25 passing for only 93 yards and a touchdown with one interception. He was sacked twice. Austin Rekow went 2-2 on field goal attempts with a long of 39 yards. 

Nick Marshall recorded 9 tackles and 2 deflections. Kentrell Brice 9 tackles. Ken Crawley 8 tackles. John Simon 6 tackles, a sack (safety), a stuff and a hurry. Damarious Randell 4 tackles, 2 deflections and a interception (36 yards). Mack Wilson 4 tackles, a sack and a stuff. Desmond King 3 tackles and a interception (29 yards). Sam Acho 3 tackles, a sack, a stuff, a hurry and a 80 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in the loss for Birmingham. 

Storm (5-4)- 31    Explorers (0-8)- 10

Columbus, Ohio:  Brandon Bridge threw for 3 touchdowns and ran for another as the Carolina Storm throttled the Columbus Explorers 31-10 in Columbus Saturday evening  

Bridge completed 19 of 25 passing for 193 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran 11 times for 72 yards and a score. 

William Powell rushed for 53 yards on 13 carries and caught 5 passes for 41 yards. Keyarris Garrett had 5 receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown. Lemar Durant had 2 touchdown receptions, catching 2 passes for 18 yards. 

Isaiah Johnson recorded 8 tackles. Vontez Burfict 7 tackles and a deflection. EJ Gaines 6 tackles, a deflection and a interception. Will Parks 5 tackles and a forced fumble for the Storm (5-4).

Explorers quarterback Vernon Adams completed 23 of 37 passing for 263 yards and a touchdown with an interception. He also ran 3 times for 55 yards. 

Jeremy Langford rushed for 45 yards on 16 carries. Trevaun Smith had 6 receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown. DeMarkus Lodge 5 catches for 50 yards and Ricco Bussey 3 receptions for 45 yards. 

TJ Ward had 9 tackles and a forced fumble. Beniquez Brown 9 tackles and 2 stuffs. DeAndre Farris 7 tackles. Ethan Westbrook 6 tackles, 4 stuffs and a hurry. Damontre Moore 3 tackles, a sack and a stuff. Adrian Colbert contributed with a sack and a deflection for the Explorers who remain winless at (0-8).


Odyssey (6-2)- 51    Surf (2-6)- 10

San Diego, Ca:  Cody Fajardo completed 19 of 27 passing for 381 yards and 5 touchdowns as the Oakland Odyssey crushed the San Diego Surf 51-10 in San Diego Saturday night. 

Brian Hill ran 15 times for 51 yards and a touchdown. Aaron Jones rushed for 48 yards on 10 carries and had 3 receptions for 35 yards and a score.  Ricky Collins Jr caught 7 passes for 165 yards and 2 touchdowns. Tyrone Swoops had 4 receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown. Collin Taylor had 3 catches for 114 yards and a touchdown. Cole Hedlund went 3-3 on field goal attempts with a long of 31 yards. 

Dre Greenlaw had 5 tackles and a stuff. James Vaughn 4 tackles. Reggie Walker 4 tackles. Pierre Desir 2 tackles, a deflection and a interception (25 yards)in the win. 

Gardner Minshew completed 10 of 31 passing for 150 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Reid Stinnett completed 3 of 10 passing for 79 yards for the Surf. 

Seth DeValve had 5 receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown. Devonta Freeman ran 8 times for 25 yards and 2 receptions for 15 yards. Tajae Sharpe 2 receptions for 27 yards.
