Week Nine Sunday Results 

Barracudas (4-5)- 19    Warriors (5-3)- 16

Tampa, FL:  Cam Newton threw for 287 yards and a touchdown with 2 interceptions to lead the Tampa Bay Barracudas to a 19-16 victory over the Milwaukee Warriors at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. 

Troy Sermon ran 12 times for 59 yards. Tank Cohen rushed for 58 yards on 9 carries. Greg Little had 5 receptions for 134 yards. Greg Ward Jr 6 catches for 65 yards and a touchdown. Will Lutz converted on 4-5 Field goals with a long of 50 yards. 

Jalen Elliott had 10 tackles and a deflection. Tony Lippet 9 tackles and a interception. Tashawn Bower 8 tackles. Chris Peace 7 tackles, 3 stuffs and a forced fumble. Jamar Wall 3 tackles, a deflection and a interception (43 yards) for the Barracudas. 

Connor Cook completed 19 of 37 passing for 272 yards and a touchdown with 2 interceptions. He rushed for 13 yards and a touchdown on 8 carries for Milwaukee. 


Marlon Mack rushed for 79 yards on 15 carries. Antonio Gibson 13 carries for 41 yards, and 4 receptions for 54 yards.  Cameron Meredith 7 catches for 101 yards. Thaddeus Moss 5 receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown for Milwaukee. Chandler Cantanzaro converted on 1 of 2 field goals with a long of 46 yards. 

Iman Marshal 11 tackles, a stuff and a hurry. Chandon Sullivan 8 tackles, a deflection and a interception (11 yards). Jordan Powell 4 tackles, a deflection and a interception (18 yards) and Jesse Lemonier 3 tackles and a sack in the loss for Milwaukee. 

Empire (3-6)- 23    Colonials (5-2-1)- 20 ( OT)

New York, NY:  Brett Meyer kicked the game winning 30 yard field goal with 2:29 remaining in overtime as the New York Empire stunned the Connecticut Colonials 23-20 at Michie Stadium in New York. 

Vad Lee completed 30 of 60 passing for 368 yards and 2 touchdowns with 4 interceptions and was sacked 4 times. 

Elijah Hood ran 18 times for 58 yards. Jammal Williams 15 carries for 28 yards. Josh Gordon had 9 receptions for 126 yards and a touchdown. Donald Parham 6 catches for 75 yards. Kelvin Benjamin 5 receptions for 50 yards and Olabisi Johnson 4 catches for 51 yards and a score. Brett Meyer went 3-5 on field goal attempts with a long of 30 yards. 

Damon Kazee led the Empire defense with 8 tackles, a stuff and a interception (18 yards). Sam Shields 7 tackles, a deflection and a stuff. Aldon Smith 6 tackles, a sack and 3 stuffs. Sheldrick Redwine 5 tackles, a sack and a deflection Nate Orchard 5 tackles in the win.

Dane Evans completed 28 of 50 passing for 276 yards and a touchdown with an interception and sacked twice. 

James Wilder Jr ran 13 times for 13 yards and a touchdown and 5 receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown.  Chris Godwin 7 receptions for 57 yards. Shaquelle Evans 5 catches for 59 yards and Martavis Bryant 4 catches for 75 yards. Gregory Hutchinson went 2-5 on field goal attempts with a long of 30 yards. 

Zach Allen led the Connecticut defense with 9 tackles and 2 stuffs.  Claude Pelon 8 tackles, a sack and 3 stuffs. Poona Ford 7 tackles, 2 sacks and a stuff. Chandler Fenner 6 tackles and 2 interceptions (77 yds). Baccarri Rambo 5 tackles, 1 deflection and a interception (31 yds). Duke Ejiofor 5 tackles and a sack. 

Hound Dogs (4-4)- 16    Fury (0-8)- 13

Seattle, WA:  Lirim Hajrullahu booted a 47 yard field goal with 2:17 remaining that proved to be the game winner as the Memphis Hound Dogs defeated the Seattle Fury 16-13 in Seattle. 

Alex Torgersen completed 18 of 27 passing for 279 yards and a touchdown with 2 interceptions for Memphis. 

Chris Carson ran 16 times for 12 yards and caught 4 passes for 50 yards. Golden Tate had 4 catches for 72 yards. Harrison Bryant had a 41 yard touchdown reception. 

Malik Harris recorded 8 tackles and a deflection. Tremaine Brown 8 tackles and a deflection. Maurice Hurst 3 tackles, a sack and a stuff. Jonathan Butler 3 tackles, a sack and a stuff. Jimmy Bean 2 tackles and a sack for Memphis. 

Dominique Davis completed 19 of 35 passing for 171 yards and a touchdown for the Fury. He was sacked 3 times. 

Jeremy Hill ran 16 times for 51 yards.  Armanti Edwards 6 receptions for 54 yards. Reggie Begelton 5 catches for 42 yards. Rashad Green 3 receptions for 32 yards and a touchdown. Kaare Vedvik made 2 of 4 field goal attempts with a long of 35 yards. 

Freddie Bishop recorded 8 tackles, 4 stuffs and a hurry to lead the defense. Essang Bassey 7 tackles. Willie Harvey 6 tackles, a stuff and a hurry and Carl Lawson 6 tackles and 2 stuffs for the Fury who remain winless at 0-8.

Firebirds (8-1)- 19    Pirates (1-6-1)- 16

Atlanta, GA;  Nick Arbuckle connected with Dez Bryant for a 51 yard touchdown with 4:01 remaining to lift the Atlanta Firebirds to a 19-16 decision over the Shreveport Pirates .

Nick Arbuckle threw for 247 yards and a touchdown with 3 interceptions on 21 of 40 passing. He was sacked once. 

Isaiah Crowell ran 12 times for 39 yards before leaving the game with an injury. Eric Rogers had 5 receptions for 48 yards. Dez Bryant caught 5 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown. Charles Clayton had 4 receptions for 51 yards.

Jalen Mills had 6 tackles, 4 deflections and a stuff.  Aaron Grymes had 6 tackles. Donald Payne 5 tackles, a sack, a deflection and 2 stuffs. Kingsley Opara 4 tackles and a sack. Micah Johnson 3 tackles and a sack. Monshadrik Hunter 2 tackles and a interception (25 yds). Nate Hairston contributed with a interception ( 12 yards. 

Shreveport quarterback Zach Mettenberger completed 15 of 38 passing for 132 yards and 2 interceptions. He was sacked 4 times. 

Michael Carter ran 8 times for 31 yards. SJ Green caught 5 passes for 35 yards. Keenan Brown 5 receptions for 50 yards. Dante Brown went 3-3 on field goal attempts with a long of 33 yards. 

Kamrin Moore recorded 7 tackles and 2 interceptions (57 yds). Derrick Kindred 6 tackles and a deflection  Josh Cox 2 tackles and a 53 yard interception return for a touchdown. Dawuane Smoot 2 tackles, a sack and a hurry for Shreveport. 

Wranglers (8-0)- 27    Desperados (2-6)- 24

Houston, TX:  Zach Collaros completed 23 of 34 passing for 306 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception, as the Houston Wranglers remained unbeaten with a 27-24 victory over the Dallas Desperados Sunday in Houston. 

Devin Singletary rushed for 78 yards on 20 carries. Kenny Shaw caught 11 passes for 171 yards and a touchdown. D'Haquille Williams 6 receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown and Bryce Williams 2 receptions for 27 yards and a score. Giorgio Tavecchio went 2-3 on field goal attempts with a long of 22 yards. 

Patrick Levi had 14 tackles and a forced fumble. David Rivers 10 tackles and a forced fumble and Dante Redwine registered a sack in the win for the Wranglers (8-0).

Dallas quarterback Michael Reilly threw for 266 yards and a touchdown. He rushed for 24 yards on 9 carries. 

Derrick Ross ran 6 times for 49 yards. Zach Line ran for a score while rushing for 27 yards on 4 carries. Derrius Guice rushed for 22 yards and a touchdown on 4 carries. Austin Jenkins had 10 receptions for 118 yards. Derel Walker 5 catches for 59 yards and Dan Arnold 4 receptions for 64 yards and a score. Cole Tracy went 1-2 on field goal attempts, having a long of 32 yards. 

Des Lawrence had a big day defensively for Dallas, recording 19 tackles, 2 deflections and a stuff. Derrick Moncrief had 5 tackles and a stuff. Vince Biegel 4 tackles and a interception as Dallas falls to 2-6 on the year. 

Crusaders (6-2)- 24    Generals (5-3)- 20

Chicago, IL;  McLeod Bethel Thompson completed a 33 yard touchdown pass to James Robinson with 4:18 remaining as the Chicago Crusaders knocked off the Washington Generals 24-20 Sunday at Soldier Field in Chicago. 

Thompson threw for 183 yards and 2 touchdowns with 2 interceptions on 13 of 22 passing. 

James Robinson ran 17 times for 87 yards and a touchdown, and caught 5 passes for 63 yards and a score. Antonio Brown had 3 receptions for 58 yards and Ellis Richardson 2 receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown.  Rodrigo Blankenship converted on 1 of 2 field goal attempts with a long of 20 yards. 

Christian Covington recorded 9 tackles, a sack, 2 hurries and a forced fumble to lead the Crusaders defensively.  Jordan Whitehead 8 tackles and a deflection. Nickell Coleman 8 tackles and Simoni Lawrence 5 tackles, a sack, a deflection, a stuff and 2 interceptions (20 yds).

Cardale Jones completed 26 of 37 passing for 269 yards and a touchdown with 2 interceptions to lead Washington.

Thomas Rawls ran 18 times for 81 yards and a touchdown. Devontae Booker 11 carries for 67 yards. Tim Wright 8 receptions for 64 yards. Will Tye 7 catches for 73 yards and Joe Hills caught 4 passes for 53 yards and a touchdown. Lewis Ward converted on 2-3 field goal attempts, having a long of 21 yards .

Ed Gainey had 9 tackles and a deflection. Marquel Lee 9 tackles. Todd Davis 5 tackles, a stuff and a interception (20 yds). Andrew Adams posted a tackle and a interception for Washington (5-3).

Ironmen (6-2)- 30    Stags (4-4)- 24

Detroit, Michigan:  Donald Gray had a huge day for Pittsburgh, catching 12 passes for 163 yards as the Pittsburgh Ironmen defeated the Michigan Stags 30-24 in Detroit Sunday evening. 

Jonathan Jennings completed 26 of 35 passing for 288 yards and 2 touchdowns with an interception. He was sacked 4 times. 

Nick Brossette ran 15 times for 31 yards. Andre Williams ran for a score while rushing for 8 yards on 3 carries, and caught 3 passes for 17 yards. Reed Klubnik had 7 receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown and Mason Schreiber 3 catches for 27 yards and a score. Mark Orozco connected on 3-3 field goals with a long of 35 yards. 

DJ White had 8 tackles and a interception (17 yds). Rasul Douglas 8 tackles. Shawn Lemon 6 tackles, a sack, a hurry and a forced fumble. Alex Aukerman 6 tackles and a sack. Carlos Watkins 5 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble. Danny Mason also had a sack for Pittsburgh (6-2).

Trevor Harris threw for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception for the Stags. He was sacked 4 times. 

Alfred Blue ran 15 times for 40 yards and caught3 passes for 41 yards and a score. Naamon Roosevelt 7 receptions for 74 yards. Antonio Callaway 7 catches for 95 yards and a touchdown. Anthony Reed had a 4 yard touchdown reception. Dominik Eberle converted on 1-1 field goals with a long of 45 yards. 

JC Jackson recorded 13 tackles, a forced fumble and an interception (3 yds). Chase Winovich 8 tackles, 2 sacks, a deflection and a stuff. Matt Judon 4 tackles and 2 sacks in the loss as Michigan drops to (4-4) on the season. 

Grizzlies (6-2)- 20    Sea Lions (6-2)- 19

Salt Lake City, Utah;  Dakota Prucup completed 17 of 35 passing for 273 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Utah Grizzlies defeated the San Francisco Sea Lions 20-19 in a key Pacific Division match up.

Larry Rose rushed for 16 yards on 11 carries and caught 3 passes for 60 yards. Darius Slayton 5 receptions for 99 yards and a touchdown. Christopher Herndon had 4 catches for 51 yards and a touchdown. Darreus Rogers 2 receptions for 43 yards. Giovanni Lucas was 2-2 on field goal attempts with a long of 38 yards. 

TJ Lee had 10 tackles, a sack, a deflection and 2 forced fumbles.  Kenny Robinson 7 tackles and a deflection. David Amersham 7 tackles. Dylan Wynn recorded 3 tackles, a sack, 2 stuffs and 2 hurries. Willie Jefferson 2 tackles, a sack, a stuff and 2 hurries. 

San Francisco was led by Easton Stick who threw for 269 yards and a touchdown. She was sacked 3 times. 

Austin Ekeler rushed for 69 yards on 19 carries. Philip Lindsay ran 7 times for 42 yards. Fabian Guerrero 4 receptions for 53 yards. Jakobi Meyers 3 catches for 48 yards. Bryant Mitchell 3 receptions for 32 yards and Justin Blackmon 2 catches for 56 yards and a touchdown. Marcus Montgomery was 2 for 2 on field goal attempts with a long of 34 yards. 

Romeo Okwara 6 tackles, 4 stuffs and a hurry. Kevin Givens 6 tackles and 2 stuffs. Tyler Matakevich 5 tackles and 2 deflections and Damion Stafford 5 tackles and a deflection for San Francisco.
