N.S.F.L WEEK 16 FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL RESULTS



Empire ( 7-8 )- 27    Stags ( 8-7 )- 10

Detroit, Michigan-  Vad Lee completed 18 of 30 passes for 252 yards and 3 touchdowns with an interception to lead the New York Empire to a 27-10 victory over the Michigan Stags before 37,555 at Ford Field Friday night. 

Jammal Williams rushed for 40 yards on 13 carries. Elijah Hood ran 18 times for 27 yards and caught 2 passes for 20 yards. Donald Parham had 6 receptions for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns. Josh Gordon 4 catches for 61 yards and a touchdown. Kelvin Benjamin 3 receptions for 54 yards. 

Sam Shields led the New York defense with 6 tackles and a interception ( 5 yards). Nate Orchard 6 tackles. Darius Phillips 2 tackles and a interception ( 29 yards).

Stags quarterback Trevor Harris completed 14 of 28 passes for 170 yards and a touchdown with 2 interceptions. He rushed for 11 yards on 5 carries. 

Samaje Perine ran 6 times for 22 yards. Alfred Blue 10 carries for 22 yards.  Naamon Roosevelt 5 catches for 45 yards and a touchdown. Antonio Callaway 4 receptions for 76 yards and Anthony R. Williams 2 catches for 10 yards. Brett Meyer booted a 59 yard field goal. 

Matt Judon recorded 8 tackles to lead the Stags defense. Houston Battle 7 tackles, Chase Winovich 6 tackles and Amani Oruwariye 2 tackles and a interception ( 2 yards ) as the Stags fall to 8-7 on the year.
